Student/Client Cancellations:
24-Hour Notice for Sick Cancellation: 1 sick cancellation may be taken every 3-month term and the subscription payment will be adjusted accordingly.
Rescheduling: If proper notice is given, the student/client will be allowed to reschedule the missed session within the same month term, based on the tutor's availability.
No Show or Late Cancellation: If a student/client fails to provide 24 hours’ notice or does not attend the scheduled session without prior notice, the session will be forfeited, and no refund or reschedule will be offered.
Other Cancellations: If the client is required to miss a session in a given month, the client must notify the tutor at the beginning of the month. If proper notice is given (at the beginning of the month), the tutor will give the option for rescheduling in the same month based on the availability of that month.
Tutor Cancellations:
If the tutor is required to miss one or more than one session in any given month, the renewal price will be adjusted based on how many sessions were missed, ensuring the student receives the value of the monthly subscription.
Public and Religious Holidays
Christmas: a 1-week adjustment may be made to the automatic renewal date of subscription based on client’s preference.
Thanksgiving: a 1-week adjustment may be made to the automatic renewal date of subscription based on client’s preference.
Summer: summer schedules may be adjusted based on client’s changing needs, however, sufficient notice must be provided of this change - at least 7 days prior to the date of automatic withdrawal for the upcoming summer month. Prices will adjust reflecting the frequency of sessions per week.
Auto-Renewal and Payment:
Renewal Price Adjustment: In cases where the tutor misses one or more than one session in a month, the subscription renewal price will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate the number of sessions missed.
Additional Notes:
The student/client and tutor are both responsible for notifying each other in advance if a session needs to be missed or rescheduled.
If the student/client and tutor are unable to reschedule a missed session within the current month due to scheduling conflicts, the missed session will not roll over into the next month.
By subscribing to this plan, both the student/client and the tutor agree to adhere to the above cancellation and rescheduling policies.
The goal of our subscription program is to offer consistent help for you or your student in the most efficient way possible. Our commitment and dedication to consistency enables you and/or your student to achieve independence in their studies as soon as possible. This means we hope to give our students the opportunity to cancel services as soon as they feel confident to do so. We also recognize that there may be events in which you need to cancel sooner rather than later. Either way, we want to make it as easy as possible to end, pause or cancel your recurring payments if that is what you want.
However, it is also very important to us that we send our students off with all the necessary tools and resources before ending services. Therefore, in order to guarantee the best results from our services, we do require at least one week advanced notice to end the month of tutoring subscription. This is a non-refundable policy and by signing this agreement, you are also agreeing ahead of time that you will commit to canceling your subscription with a week of notice or more.
Again, this policy is not to make it more difficult to cancel but to ensure the most efficient services with the best results for our students.
Cancellations must be requested at least one week (7days) before the end of your month. Cancellations made after this deadline will result in being charged for the upcoming month.
For example, if a customer wishes to cancel their subscription for the month of January starting on the 1st, they must notify Potentia Tutoring by December 24th.
Cancellation requests should be made by filling out the form @potentiatutoring.com/cancel-subscription. This link will be made available to you easily on our website as well as here on the form. Upon confirmation of cancellation, the Customer will not be billed for future months, but no refunds will be provided for payments already made.
